We are now at birthday plus one week and nothing really changes. I've applied for jobs, been rejected from jobs but continue the process just in case. Today I've been browsing bargains which is one of my favourite hobbies and look what I found:

Happy Birthday to Me
It is nearly that time of year when the calendar clicks one day forward and I will be another year older.
In case I had forgotten the date various websites are starting to remind me and bestowing me with gifts that money cannot buy. Today's emails included:
In case I had forgotten the date various websites are starting to remind me and bestowing me with gifts that money cannot buy. Today's emails included:
- 10 points from PG tips for their Cuppa Club. As the monkey suggested I had a browse but nothing took my fancy.
- Brewer's Fayre would like to invite me in for a free meal. Not much of a celebration on my own though is it?

In the Greenhouse
At the risk of sounding like my Mother, there is something quite satisfying about potting up your geraniums in the greenhouse. Especially when it is pouring with rain.
24 tiny geraniums set out in the post on the 28th April and arrived on 7th May. They all looked either weedy or past it. In my usual spirit of optimism I have put them all in pots - they are so tiny that 3 fit in each pot so they have company and can encourage each other to grow.

- On Thursday,
- Best of all for me, I have printed off our own boarding passes, so we only have to hand in our luggage at the airport. I love technology.

A Happy Easter to Cacti Everywhere

If Life is Like a Box of Chocolates
If, as Forest Gump's Mama said, life is like a box of chocolates then at the moment I am getting all the coffee creams. And I loathe coffee creams.
I must try to find things that make me happy, apart from flamingos. You don't see many where I live, but ever the optimist I will keep checking the bird feeder.
